Determination

I'm wearing clothes that I bought in college! It's so much fun to say that!!! I still need to lose about 20 more pounds to be completely healthy and for my BMI to be "healthy" but I am happy with my progress! 30 pounds gone and I'm finally feeling good!!! Now let me also say that even in high school when I was at my skinniest, my BMI was still in the overweight range. I was a size 8 and I'm 5'6 so I wasn't tiny but I didn't have any rolls either. Why was my BMI overweight? Because have been a 36 DD since 8th grade and my bottom has NEVER been little! So even if I lose the weight they want me to, I'm still going to be "overweight" and I told my doctor this and he's answer was he didn't believe that so yeah now I'm  determined to lose the weight and go in and say told you so! (At this point in this process it's little things like that that help me get through another month of not being pregnant.)
Speaking of the doctor, sometimes he drives me crazy! Last appointment he wants my BMI in the 20s before we start hormones to help me get pregnant. So my BMI was 29 last appointment so he says "it's you decision to go back on the hormones now". So my response was "I want to do the hormones". (I knew that was too easy) he then makes a few clicks on his computer and I think he's doing the prescription and then he says "when you get your BMI below 25 it will reduce your risk of a miscarriage drastically" REALLY?!?! After everything I've been through that's what you say to me?  UGH! So of course I said "well then maybe we should wait." What else was I supposed to say?!?!? Ok let's go ahead and do hormones and hope for the best?!? NO!! I wish doctors would just let it be sometimes! Just let me be happy and try the hormones! So here we are again! Hurry up and wait holding pattern like always.
Gotta have a proud wife moment here! 😊 Andrew completed his training and is already going through the hiring process with one of the local law enforcement agencies!! So proud of him and what he's accomplished!! In a few years he also hopes to finish his 4 year degree. He's so driven and smart! Can't wait to see him as a father!! 😍
